The Tasks page is your single, prioritized to-do list. Instead of checking your call log, voicemail, and texts separately, everything that needs a human lands here — so nothing gets missed on a busy day.
Open it from Tasks in the left navigation.
What lands on the list
FrontDesk pulls together every kind of follow-up automatically:
| Task type | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Callback | A caller asked to be called back |
| Voicemail | A voicemail was left and not yet read |
| Missed call | A call went unanswered and hasn't been followed up |
| Upset caller | The AI flagged a call as needing attention |
| Booking request | Someone requested an appointment online |
| Confirmation | An upcoming appointment still needs confirming |
| Message | The AI took a message (refill, results, billing, or general) |
Work through it
- Filter by type using the chips at the top, or see everything together. Each chip shows a live count.
- Open a task to see the contact, what they need, and how urgent it is, with a link to the underlying call or message.
- Act on it — call the person back, reply to their text, or confirm the appointment.
- Dismiss it when it's handled. It drops off the list; the original call or message stays in its own log.
Good to know
- It updates live. New voicemails, missed calls, and AI-taken messages appear on their own, and the sidebar badge keeps a running count.
- Messages the AI takes show up here. When your AI takes a refill, results, or billing message, it becomes a task — so those requests get actioned even if no one was at the desk. See handle voicemails and messages.
- Confirmations have their own page too. For a schedule-focused view, use Appointment confirmations.
