The Confirmations page tells you, at a glance, which of your upcoming appointments are locked in and which still need a nudge — so you can fill or reschedule the gaps before they become no-shows.
Open it from Schedule → Confirmations.
Read the board
Four summary cards at the top double as filters:
- Pending — reminder sent, awaiting a reply
- Confirmed — the patient confirmed
- Declined — the patient can't make it
- No response — no reply yet
Click any card to filter the table below. You can also filter by date range (today, tomorrow, this week, or all upcoming) and search for a specific patient.
Automated reminders
Most confirmations happen on their own. Open Settings on the page to configure reminders:
- Channels — SMS, email, and voice calls
- Timing — how far ahead each reminder goes out (for example, 24 hours before)
- Templates — the message wording
- Confirmation keywords — what a patient can reply to confirm
When a patient replies to confirm, their appointment flips to Confirmed automatically. Use Trigger reminders to process any that are due right now.
Reminders and confirmations share the same settings. For the full walkthrough, see Configure appointment reminders.
Handle each appointment
From the actions menu on any row you can:
- Confirm or Decline manually
- Send reminder on demand
- Reschedule to a new date and time (the patient is notified)
- Add to waitlist — great for a decline you'd like to backfill
- Reset to pending
