Billing & Plans
Plans, usage, overages, payment methods, and how to upgrade or cancel.
- Understand usage and overagesEach plan includes a monthly pool of call minutes and SMS segments. Overages are billed at a per-unit rate at the end of the month. You can set soft caps and email alerts to avoid surprises.2 min
- What counts as a minute?Minutes are counted per call, rounded up to the next whole minute. A 5-second call counts as 1 minute. A 61-second call counts as 2. Voicemail-only calls (where the caller hangs up without speaking) are not billed. Test calls bill exactly like real calls. Inbound and outbound minutes share the same monthly pool unless your plan says otherwise.3 min
- Cancel your subscriptionYou can cancel anytime in Settings → Subscription. Cancellation is "cancel at period end" — paid features keep working until the end of your current billing period, then your account drops to the free tier. There is no self-serve pause feature; if you need a break shorter than a full cancel, downgrade to a smaller plan or contact support. Your data is retained on the free tier; phone numbers are released after the period ends unless you port them out first.3 min
- Upgrade or downgrade your planPlan changes happen instantly from Settings → Subscription. Upgrades bill the prorated difference immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you keep what you paid for. We block downgrades that would put you over plan limits.2 min
- Update your payment methodUpdate your card from Settings → Subscription → Payment Method. The change uses Stripe's secure checkout — we never see or store your card number. You can swap cards anytime and the new card is charged on your next billing date.1 min
