Onboarding gets your AI working. The Getting Started checklist on your Dashboard gets it live — answering real calls and SMS for real patients.
The four core tasks
1. Connect a phone number
Settings → Phone. Purchase a new number ($2–$3/month) or port your existing number (2–4 weeks). Without a number your AI has nothing to answer.
2. Configure your AI assistant
Settings → AI Voice. Pick a voice, write your opening greeting, and add custom knowledge (parking, insurance accepted, common questions).
3. Make a test call
Settings → AI Voice → Call Scripts. Click Test next to any scenario (new appointment, prescription refill, after-hours, etc.). The system places a call to your phone so you hear exactly what your callers will hear.
4. Invite your team
Settings → Team. Send invites to front-desk staff, providers, and managers. Team size is capped by your plan.
Healthcare bonus task
If your business type is healthcare (dental, medical, optometry, mental health, etc.) a fifth task appears: Sign your BAA — the HIPAA Business Associate Agreement that lets us handle PHI on your behalf.
When to celebrate
The first time a real caller reaches your AI, you'll see a celebration modal. After that the checklist auto-collapses. You can dismiss it permanently from the ⋯ menu.
